Is this your first film role?
Yes this is my first role in a Nollywood film  but I have played many key roles in off screen shots in many movie productions and stage acting in many places.
What character do you play? Tell us a bit about him.
I am an extra in ONYE OZI as a police man, a party dancer and as a ‘waka-pass’ traveller at Heathrow airport.
What made you want to audition for ONYE OZI (The Messenger)?
I went for ONYE OZI audition because I have the passion to revive the dying morals in our society through acting and fiction works and I take it as an opportunity to contribute my quota towards it.
What was the initial reaction from family and friends when you told them that you will be involved in the first ever Igbo language film in London?
My friends and family have been so supportive, but have also  advised me to always mind the tiny line between my movie life and my personal life (self defining).
How different did it feel for you to act in an Igbo language film in comparison to English? Was it easier or harder, considering you had to learn the script in Igbo, etc?
Acting in an Igbo movie was very interesting and fun. It really helped to showcase my confidence in speaking my own language. However it also showed some of my weaknesses which I plan to work on. It was not that easy to speak a full correct sentence in Igbo without adding a single word of English.
This film will definitely bring something new to Nollywood, being one of the few Igbo films being made. Considering the large number of Igbo actors/actresses, directors in the Industry, why do you think there are very few Igbo films being made, in comparison with other groups?
Nollywood as we call it today started with an Igbo movie subtitled in English called LIVING IN BONDAGE but due to wider marketing, they started using English.  Only a foolish old man forgets the village where he came from, but we are not foolish, are we?
What do you wish for the outcome of ONYE OZI (The Messenger)?
ONYE OZI (The Messenger) passes a message to ME and YOU and to all producers and directors too. That message is about re-awakening the dying morals/values in the culture/roots, because language is the best defining factor of a person for a better tomorrow.
