Beyonce, Solange and Jay Z have released a joint statement to explain the conflict that occurred on May 5th in an elevator at Met Ball.
On May 5th, a security footage video was released in which Solange supposedly attacked Jay Z. Since the video went viral on the Internet, there has been much speculation on the cause of the incident.
In an attempt to clear the air on arrays of rumors going round, the family released an official statement to the Associated Press.
The statement read that, they all were obliged to comment due to numerous speculations and rumors and explained that the matter that caused the incident was a private family one.
“They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family”, it said.
Of course, the family would not reveal the reason for the physical assault but rumors have it that Solange avenged an assault on Beyonce by Jay-Z while others claim Solange is not in good terms with her brother in-law for his inability to help her career.
The hotel worker who released the security footage from that night has since been relieved of his job.
