Yesterday, a 19-second video of a Kenyan woman making the statements below regarding GEJ’s visit to Kenya, went viral on social media:
“Your president visited our country with seven private jets and that’s never happened before. We were all excited. This is Nigeria. It’s the country with the largest private jets. Seven private jets only. I know there must be more but for us still that was wow. Everybody came in their own jets”
However, barely 24 hours after this news circulated, Reuben Abati, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan has denied what was said in this video; He insists that the Kenyan woman (who seems to be a government official) was lying and has no evidence to prove that her statements are accurate
