Entertainment personality and winner of the 2011 Big Brother Africa reality show, Karen Igho, has stirred up a debate on the Internet concerning what can be described as her sex diary. She says she has not had sex in the last two years.
She took to Twitter to lament the development as she explains to her over 87, 000 followers on the social network that she is not a “bad girl.’’
She adds that she is still waiting for the right guy and that she is currently battling to abstain from sex.
Karen also took time out to reach out to Lola Omotayo, mother of the two children of Peter Okoye of the P Square duo, after the artiste proposed marriage to Omotayo with a brand new Range Rover.
She tweets, “Single like for ever; haven’t had any sex for almost two years now. I’m waiting for the right guy. No be only konji they catch we plenty, na to hold body. Sex is not everything. Some people still think I am a bad girl; far from it.’’
As expected, her fans reached out to her as soon as the messages were posted on the micro-blogging service. While many disagreed with her claims, others who appeared to have believed her story warned her against dilly dallying as time may be running out on her.
Yet, some other users of the social network bombarded her with proposals, with many asking her to give them her phone number with a view to asking her out.
When the male fans claiming to be eligible bachelors did not get a response from Karen, some of them posted their phone numbers as well as their BlackBerry PINS on the social network and urged her to reach out to them.
A male fan, Akpobasa Freedom, in a tweet, asks, “Karen Igho, can I have your phone number, please?’’
Also, one Praise sent a tweet to her, saying, “Karen Igho, I want to date you for real. I have always loved you since day one. This is not because of your fame but I just love you. Please, contact me on 22945***. Add me, please.’’
A female fan of hers, Esin Martina, tweets, “I just read your tweet saying you are waiting for the right man. But you dey try o.’’
