Pope Francis Admits A Top Secret Vatican ‘’Gay Lobby”

The Guardian reports that Pope Francis is set to fight what he himself acknowledges is a “gay lobby” in the Vatican; a ring of gay priests who have been wreaking havoc in Vatican City, participating in renting male prostitutes and constantly engaging in corrupt behaviors including money laundering and blackmail.

Speaking at a secret meeting of officials at the Latin American Conference of Religious Men and Women and referencing the so-called gay lobby, Francis said “In the Curia, there are truly some saints, but there is also a current of corruption. The ‘gay lobby’ is mentioned, and it is true, it is there … We need to see what we can do.”

The Vatican has long been rumored to be an active hotbed of sex and prostitution. In April, CBS News reported that a huge volume of pornography, including movies focusing on sadomasochism, had been illegally downloaded to computers inside Vatican City.

Last month, the Daily Mail reported that an organized ring of “rent boys” was operating out of the Vatican in order to serve the sexual needs of nine priests. These allegations came from disgraced clergy member Don Patrizio Poggi who is currently in jail on charges of pedophilia. The Vatican dismissed those charges as being about “revenge,” but now that Pope Francis has admitted to a top secret Vatican gay lobby, could Poggi’s allegations be verified?

Poggi claims that teenage boys were solicited outside a well-known gay bar called “Twinks,” and brought back to the Vatican for sex games with priests, for which the boys would make between $200-$650. They were tricked into the situation, Poggi says, by lies and deceit; the solicitors would tell them that modeling or acting work was available and lure them into the car. The main perpetrators were a former policeman and one of his friends who was the proprietor of a modeling agency. The two men would prey upon boys who looked desperate and hungry, Poggi says.

If that wasn’t enough of a shock, news of a fresh gay scandal hit the Vatican earlier this week, when a bank prelate who was hand-selected by Pope Francis was exposed as being a well-known homosexual who lived with his Swiss Guard boyfriend for several years while he was on an assignment for the Vatican in Uruguay. He is also reported to have had numerous other gay relationships. It is now rumored that he has been functioning as the leader of the gay sex and underage prostitution ring.

The prelate, Monsignor Battista Ricca, offered his resignation to Pope Francis over the weekend but there has been no word as to whether or not it has been accepted. Now that Pope Francis has formally acknowledged a top secret gay lobby within the Vatican, all of the previous stories and scandals the Vatican has flatly denied come back into question.

Since the Vatican has been actively covering up stories about child sex abuse for well over 50 years, many have begun to ask what else has been covered up. Scandal after scandal has cropped up in the news and each one is denied.

This leads many to wonder: now that the gay lobby has been exposed, are all of the previous stories true and if so, what actions will Pope Francis take? He recently made it illegal to leak any Vatican information, especially that which pertains to sex crimes, so it seems only a matter of time before eyebrows start being raised toward Pope Francis himself.

He says he wants to get rid of the gay lobby, but he appointed a man who is widely known to be gay to be his right hand financial advisor, direct his living quarters and eat meals with him. Some have called Francis’ judgment into question and now wonder what additional scandal is lurking right around the corner.
