The search is on, and it is getting stiffer to produce a worthy woman to wear bear the title for the ‘Miss Nigeria 2013′. For the past six months, the organizers and panel have searched every state of the country and sixty beautiful ladies were picked. They have narrowed it down to 36 through a vigorous elimination process which includes question and answer sessions, phone interviews, several performances to determine their eloquence, diction, poise, talent, speech manners and beauty. The final result was made based on the votes each woman got from the photos put up of them.
The 36 contestants would move on to feature in a reality show titled ‘The Making Of The Queen’. The show would last for two weeks where the women would be properly groomed in the ways of a true queen. After this, 21 ladies would be shortlisted and would move on to compete for the prestigious Miss Nigeria crown. A spokes person for the organizers said;
we want our Queen to be a spokes person for all women and the Nation. As an Ambassador, your stunning beauty is not all, your charisma, charm, manners, eloquence and diction are very important.
The shortlisted contestants were revealed yesterday, below are the photos of the contestants and some faces present at the unveiling.
