African hair braiding has been in existence even before civilization and can be found in ancient artifacts and stone sculptures. They were still very common even back in the 60’s, but with the influx of Brazilian Peruvian Indian and Morocco hair, in 2013 braids seem to be no where especially on the red carpet, you will only find our teenagers wearing their hair in braids.
Here are a few suggestions on how to wear braids and still look sophisticated be it cornrows, box braids or plaits. Will you be trying braids soon?
