George Clooney and Julia Roberts are teaming up, and not for a new movie project.
The lawsuit reads, “Defendants prominently used large photographs of Plaintiffs in Defendants’ advertising, marketing and promotions including print advertisements published in numerous magazines over the past several months … Accordingly, Defendants are liable to Plaintiffs for the infringement of their publicity rights, privacy rights, and trademark rights.”
While neither Clooney or Roberts have spoken out about the lawsuit, it appears that the two friends discussed it and agreed to work together on it, as they filed together despite the fact that their longtime lawyers are not with the same firm. The case is being handled by Charles Harder of Wolf Rifkin Shapiro Schulman & Rabkin in Los Angeles.
