R&B crooner Robin Thicke was arrested for marijuana possession, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed to Access Hollywood on Friday.The “Lost Without U,” singer was arrested at 12:25 PM ET while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near 3rd Avenue and East 21st, in NYC, the spokesperson told Access Hollywood.
He was charged with possession of an unknown amount of marijuana.
Reports said that the singer was pulled over after he was observed throwing something out of the window of the car he was in.
The source said police opened up a cigarette box in the vehicle and found a “roach.”
Thicke was taken to a police station and issued a summons. He was only there for about 15 minutes and wound up signing autographs for the staff.
The 34 year old singer, husband to “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” star Paula Patton, released his latest album, “Love After War” last year.
