Veteran Nigerian comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, aka Ali Baba, lashed out at a twitter follower who probably crossed his bounds on the micro-blogging site.
Alibaba had used his wife’s photograph on his profile which a follower mistook for a lady’s account. The follower, after acknowledging the beauty of the woman, tweeted that she should get in touch with him (fan) on Blackberry and Whatsapp, releasing his BB pin and Whatsapp contacts on Twitter.
The man, who goes by the name, David Usman, tweeted: “hey, look beautiful babe! Pls u can add me on bbm 2381**89 or Whatsapp me 0814**27**0.’
As expected, Alibaba swiftly responded, saying, “obviously you can’t read. Some idiots will just see the picture of a lady on social networks and begin sending you all kinds of crap. As if that’s why we are here.”
