Tattoos are part of beauty regimen but nowadays they’ve been so much abused. Back in the days, even in Nigeria, some of our parents and grand parents have rocked tats but theirs were modestly done.
Now in Nigeria, the thought of tattoos being part of beauty seems to have faded. Our parents and even the youths see them as an extreme way of adding to beauty. Bottom line; it’s against our moral and spiritual beliefs.
But that is not to say anybody who has them is a bad person- it’s just the way Nigerians have come to perceive it.
So let’s say you meet a girl like Tonto Dikeh who has got ink almost all over her and you like her so much but you are sure your parents wouldn’t approve of tattoos, what will you do?
Or you as a lady meets the likes of Davido or Wizkid- they too have tattoos, and he proposes marriage, would you accept and take him home to your parents?
