Policeman Accused Of Mistreating Whitney Houston Body

Policeman accused of 'inappropriate' treatment of Whitney Houston's body

Whitney Houston

A Beverly Hills police sergeant has been accused of staring at Whitney Houston’s naked body and making inappropriate comments about the pop star at the scene of her death last year. The police sergeant named Terry Nutall looked under the sheet covering the pop icon’s corpse and said, “Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?” according to a labor dispute filing from Sept. 11 that was made by another officer who was there.

The document was obtained by the Los Angeles Times. Brian Weir, a senior patrol sergeant who was also at the scene, made the statements in a claim that accuses the police department and city of taking retaliatory actions against him after he reported the misconduct. Weir’s filing also claims that after Nuttall arrived, he, “for no legitimate law enforcement inquiry, investigative, or other proper and legal purpose… removed the sheet and/or other covering from the body… to an area below the pubic region.” “We will be looking into the allegations made in this claim, but we were not aware of any inappropriate behavior or comments made by any officer at the scene,” Beverly Hills Police spokesman Lt. Lincoln Hoshino told sources.

Whitney Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012, in her fourth-floor hotel room of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the night before the Grammy Awards. Her cause of death was ruled an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
