Basketball star Lamar Odom has reportedly left rehab with an assistant just one day after checking himself in to an unspecified treatment facility. The basketball star – who is married to Khloe Kardashian-Odom – is believed to have checked into a treatment centre on Wednesday September 4, 2013 to get help for his alleged cocaine problem, but it is now being claimed he has already left.
According to People magazine, Lamar, 32, was spotted leaving rehab with an assistant before being seen in Los Angeles later that day. News Lamar had entered a treatment centre came after he was arrested last week for driving under the influence [DUI], leading to his license being suspended after he refused a chemical test.
It also follows reports his four-year marriage to the reality TV star is on the rocks because of his alleged drug habit and infidelities, with many reports claiming he regularly freebased cocaine. Lamar’s alleged drug dealer has claimed the Los Angeles Clippers player has a ‘huge problem’ with the illegal drug.
In a video interview with RadarOnline.com, the dealer said: ‘[Lamar has a] huge problem and he has a very addictive personality. It is becoming worse as you can see.’
‘He [Lamar] likes to party, He’s a pretty nice guy to be honest with you, but he’s becoming … his problem seems to be becoming a bigger problem . In my experience, he literally likes cocaine. He is a cocaine guy. He likes to smoke it.’
