One Direction Singer Louis Tomlinson Turns Footballer

Louis Tomlinson, member of English boy band, One Direction has signed for Doncaster Rovers and has been given the No 28 squad number for the 2013- 14 season.

The 21 year old star has always had the dream of playing for the club.

A club spokesman said they hoped he would appear in Rovers Colours and train with the Championship footballers at some point this season in aid of charity.

Tomlinson now shares the same jersey number with Club Chairman, John Ryan who wore No 28 when he became the oldest person to play professional football club in England, aged 52 years and 11 months.
