Khloe and Lamar
Los Angeles Clippers basketball player Lamar Odom has been thrown out of the house by Khloe Kardashian. His forced eviction from the couple’s Californian home did not come about because of his dalliances between the sheets with other women. It all came down to that final straw, Odom’s hard drug intake.
One day after proud grandma Kris Jenner posted the first pictures of her new granddaughter North, it was reported that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s marriage is in trouble yet again. Odom’s consistent use of hard core drugs as a recreational pastime has caused Khloe to snap.
Despite a last ditch intervention effort attempted by the entire Kardashian clan Odom could not stop returning to his favorite hobby. TMZ has reported that Lamar was jettisoned from the house on Wednesday after the intervention failed.
The 33 year-old NBA player has been a hard core drug user for the last two years, according to TMZ. Khloe was aware of it and she forced him to attend a rehab facility. Odom went, but very much against his will and he quit the rehab program after three short weeks. His leaving rehab was delayed for a little while as Khloe had hired private investigators to keep an eye on the San Diego rehab center 24/7 until Lamar left.
At that point there was no real danger of Lamar Odom getting thrown out of the house he shares with Khloe. He seemed to be on the road to getting his act together.
His short three week turn at getting clean did last for a little while and his performance for the Los Angeles Clippers improved enough that he was averaging four points per game in his status as a reserve player for the team. He did so well that the LA team has expressed interest in bringing Odom back for this season.
Unfortunately after the season ended, Lamar went back to his old ways and began to partake in those recreational hard drugs. That combined with his alleged cheating with other women has caused Khloe to put her foot down.
But TMZ say that neither Khloe nor Lamar have filed any paperwork for a divorce; yet. It also appears that neither one of them have approached anyone for legal advice.
According to a source close to the couple, Khloe has a different goal in mind, a goal that doesn’t include divorce. As she loves Lamar, she is more interested in helping him to overcome his addictive personality. The source said, “Khloe is more concerned about saving Lamar than ending her marriage.”
But the straw that broke the Kardashian back was when Odom completely ignored the family’s intervention effort and that is when Khloe kicked Odom out of the Kardashian household. TMZ has photographs of Odom leaving the house with his bags packed. Unfortunately for Khloe, only Lamar can make the decision to stop the recreational drug taking. Now that she has thrown him out, the next step is up to him.
