BBA: Beverly, Cleo, Dillish, Elikem And Melvin All The Way
As the grand finale of Big Brother Africa: The Chase draws near, it looks like another Nigerian will win the top prize again. Angelo, who was seen as the darkhorse and was tipped to win the game, has been evicted, paving the way for Melvin and Beverly to lay a huge claims for the grand prize of $300,000. OLUSOLA OLUJIDE AYODELE writes.
Angelo and Bimp are out
South African representative, dance teacher Angelo Collins and Ethiopia’s Bimp were evicted from the BBA house last Sunday. Angelo entered Big Brother because he realised that life is too short and “one shouldn’t limit the things you want to do”. If he wins the grand prize, he will start a small business, help an orphanage and help his mom and family with a better life.
Angelo describes himself as “tall, dark, adventurous and handsome” and attributes his confidence to being relaxed and comfortable in his own skin. He dislikes arrogant, self centered and rude people, preferring people who are confident and know what they want in life.
Also, Ethiopia’s Bimp has become the 21st housemate to be evicted from The Chase. After what has been a confusing night that saw all three of the eviction nominees being called into the Rendezvous Room, live show presenter IK revealed to the housemates and to Africa that Bimp’s Chase has come to an end.
As soon as Bimp sat down, IK wasted no time in probing the Ethiopian about his beef with Elikem. The ousted housemate shared that he does not see eye to eye with the Ghanaian because Elikem has grown increasingly cocky in the house. “He has changed,” Bimp insisted.

Beverly wanted more sex- Angelo
The South African house mate was evicted last Sunday alongside Bimp but one major highlight of his stay was sexual activities with the Nigerian vixen Beverly, who herself has been a source of controversy.
Angelo who approached 5 ladies in the house, said during the eviction interview that Beverly kissed him first before he kissed her. “I like Beverly because she is a strong woman and she would go for whatever she wants”. He also emphasised that his relationship with Beverly was initiated by Beverly, when asked if the relationship was initiated or induced. Though it stated he loved Beverly.
When quizzed about why they fought he said, Beverly wanted more. “Beverly told me it has been over one week since we last did it (referring to the sex in the bathtub) but I said NO. I promised my mother i would not do such, so I can’t do it again”.

The love tempo in the Big Brother Africa house is bound to change drastically as Beverly Osu’s in-house lover, Angelo, has been evicted from the reality show.
Angelo’s eviction happened on Sunday and Beverly cried out her eyes. While she was sobbing, Melvin who is Nigeria’s second representative but always quiet in the BBA house, went to Beverly Osu’s bed to console her and gave her a sweet message.
Below is what he told her: “You still have me. You will be fine. I will still be here for you. My bed is the biggest in the House. You can share it with me.” It seems Beverly will always need a man around her.
Melvin is the last HoH!
Due to the eviction of this week’s HoH Bimp, a new Head of House had to be chosen. The runner up on last week’s HoH challenge Angelo would have been the fitting candidate but he too has been evicted. So Biggie chose Melvin to be the leader of the pack in their final week, much to his delight. Melvin jokingly told his fellow Housemates that he will swap
all of them as they also rejoiced in his promotion. Congratulations to Melvin, the last leader of The Chase.
