Rising entertainer, Saeon has been commissioned by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) as a brand advocate in its new campaign.
The pop act who has already recorded a jingle for the campaign was awarded a certificate of commissioning by the DG of NAFDAC, Paul Orhi.
Saeon, who now joins 2face Idibia as a NAFDAC ambassador, will be partnering with the agency to help inform the general public about the new ways of verifying the authenticity of an anti-malaria and antibiotic drugs.
According to a statement from NAFDAC, made available to NET, the new initiative is an interactive text messaging system between consumers and NAFDAC which will hopefully reduce the purchasing of illegal drugs in Nigeria.
