Nicki Minaj decided it is time that she does it with Chris Brown. She isn’t dating Breezy or anything like that, she just decided that it was a good idea to collaborate on a song. They have conjured up the song titled: “Love More,” which is featured on Chris Brown’s new album which was just released on the net.
There are several reasons why this collaboration could be headed for disaster. Most people don’t like Chris Brown because of what happened between him, and Rihanna. Riri might have forgiven him, but most responsible adults who happen to be parents and want to set a good example for their children, haven’t. They think he hasn’t been punished sufficiently and most feel like he should have had atleast the deceny to quit while he was ahead. In addition Nicki is seen as an air head who has a peculiar fashion sense and isn’t exactly role model material either.
However, Chris Brown didn’t just collaborate with Nicki Minaj on his new album he also does it with: Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, B.o.B. and Wiz Khalifa. Very strange plot twists indeed; do most of these stars think it’s a great idea to collaboate with Breezy because he has so much artistic integrity or have they just sold their soul to the highest bidder? Wiz Khalifa should give his young baby son a good example, right? Amber Rose should have been firm and warned him against collaborating with Mister Brown.
The public had high hopes for Kelly Rowland. She isn’t trashy like Nicki Minaj and she seems to have good taste even when choosing partners to collaborate with. However, this time around she seemed to have dropped the ball. It’s even more mind blowing that she dediced to work together with abuser Brown because she has been abused herself. On July 22, her new video “Dirty Laundry” was released in which she re-enacted the physical abuse she had endured during a romantic relationship.
She hasn’t named her abuser but she did mention that this relationship was not only terrible because of the abuse but also due to the fact that it had actually driven a wedge between Beyoncé and Rowland. In June, Kelly spoke out about Beyoncé, she stated: ”I just want to clear one thing up. I never had rage against my sister [Beyoncé]. I was in rage of all the things I was going through. The song is about me, more than anything. I just want to clear that up. I love my sister. We all do.”
Are you stunned that these artists decided that it would be great to work together with Chris. Do you think that it’s narrow minded to always talk about the abuse Brown had inflicted on Rihanna?
