Messi, Van Persie, Ronaldo, Bale nominated for UEFA Best Player in Europe Award

Four players from UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich, make up a 10-man shortlist for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo also make the nomination list, alongside Premier League stars Gareth Bale and Robin van Persie.

The winner of the award will be revealed on August 29, after a jury of journalists from countries across Europe vote. The previous two editions of the award, was won by Messi and Andres Iniesta.

NOMINEES: Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Thomas Muller, Franck Ribery, Ajren Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Robin Van Persie.
