Aguilera revealed a slimmer figure as she appeared on the Television Critics’ Association’s tour in Beverly Hills this weekend. The favorite female judge of ‘The Voice’ appeared with her original co-stars. Her dainty pink dress highlighted her smaller waist and toned arms.
This writer had no issues with Aguilera’s weight. No matter what size, she looks incredible, honestly. What is refreshing is Aguilera wanted to approach weight loss in a different way. Friends close to the singing siren, stated, “[She’s] making herself a priority, trying new exercises and trying things she loves and enjoys rather than stuff to just ‘lose weight.’ This is really from the inside out.”
Gotta love Aguilera for first starting from the inside to develop a healthy stance of approach instead of surgery or radical diet plans. The pint-sized beauty has been relying on a nutrition delivery service (future spokeswoman?) and a workout that includes strength training and intense cardio. The results reveal a leaner, healthier Aguilera.
The ‘Genie in a Bottle’ singer took some time off from the popular singing show to connect with her family and get back into the studio. Aguilera recently released a music video titled ‘Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti’ (Today I Want You) with Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández. The video unveils a beautiful song, and truly highlights Aguilera’s bilingual talents. In the video, her slimmer figure was revealed in a gorgeous black dress.
Born in 1980, Aguilera was born with music in her blood. Her mother, Shelly Loraine Fidler was a professional violinist and pianist. During her childhood, her “mature beyond years” voice swept through talent shows across schools. Parents complained about the expansive talent from the young crooner and the petite beauty became a product of bullying. Her doting mother spared her daughter from the abuse and home-schooled her. In 1990 Aguilera stunned in the critically acclaimed ‘Star Search.’ Three years later began her famous career as a ‘Mousketeer’ on the ‘The All New Mickey Mouse Club.’ A club that would carry other stars like Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake.
In 2002, the sweetheart with lethal vocals shattered her innocence with the release of her ‘Stripped’ album. Aguilera got a ‘Make Over’ and became ‘Dirrty.’ The singer shrugged off the critics as her record sold over 4 million records, earning more adoring fans. When ‘Lotus’ was released in late 2012, the results were tepid. In 2013 she broke any doubt of losing her touch when she and singer Pitbull debuted, ‘Feel this Moment’ on ‘The Voice’ during the season 4 finale.
The songstress was previously married to Jordan Bratman and their divorced finalized a few years ago. Aguilera denied reports the reason she sought a divorce was to date on set production assistant Matt Rutler, during the filming of ‘Burlesque’. She denied it stating at the time, “Things were so unhealthy and unhappy for both Jordan and me, I knew I had to end it. I really didn’t want to hurt Jordan, and I felt torn about splitting our family up.”
Aguilera is excited to be back in the judge’s chair for the season 5 premier of ‘The Voice,’ She stated she needed the time off, because “it was like this train that kept gaining and gaining viewers, and I had to step away . . . I feel revived.” Aguiler shared that during her time off, she bonded with her family and used time to just relax. It seems she also continued her daily workout regime, as the ‘Fighter’ singer revealed a slimmer build and a fierce confidence.
