This morning, the Diamonds bore the full brunt of the big boss’ anger when they, as usual, decided to dedicate their time to sleeping and scratching themselves, instead of throwing their weight into this week’s Circus Task.
Not even the colourful costumes nor the anticipation of learning new magic tricks could excite the Diamond Chasemates enough to prod them to move to the garden to start the Task.
The only Diamond who had sense enough to follow the Task Brief is Bassey, who stuck out like a sore thumb in a colourful circus Ring Master outfit, complete with dark glasses and bedazzled hat. When the Housemates, still clad in their casuals, were summoned to the living room, there was a lot of speculation about what might go down. “I have a feeling we will be joined by the Emeralds”, Bassey said. Clearly, no one had an idea what was to come.
“Big Brother expects Housemates to start their Tasks as soon as they receive the Task Briefs. A warning Housemates. Any further lack of participation will result in a loss of Wager”, Biggie said. As soon as the announcement was made Bassey, who was already in character, screamed ‘I told you guys and you didn’t want to listen”. The Diamonds, including the Head of House, Bimp looked around sheepishly and then made a beeline for the garb to be used for the Circus Task.
