The Flying Eagles booked their place to the second round of the FIFA under twenty Championship in Turkey through a ninth minute heading by Kayode.
Flying Eagles striker Olanrewaju Kayode scored in the ninth minute of the game to book the eagles in to the second round, he was free and attacked a smoothly curled in free kick to head it in
For the next twenty minutes the Eagles handled the ball well and made the Koreans make uncomfortable passes
But at the ending of the First half the Korean team started to create chances but couldnt test the Nigerian keeper throughout the first half
The second half started as the first half ended with Korea starting to get more creative to match the Eagles physicallity but the Eagles now relied on their solid defence to pull them through and looking for the ever running Kayode to relieve some pressure of the defence
Later by the 73 minute the Eagles midfield started to take central stage and coordinate the play well but still look blunt when it came to giving the final pass to finish off the Koreans
And so the game ended 1-0,now Nigeria having booked their place in the second round of the competition will face one the best third place winner.
