The Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile Ife, Osun state, has approved the appointments of Mr David Awoyemi and Mrs Josephine Akeredolu as the new Registrar and Bursar of the institution respectively.
This was communicated in a statement issued by the institution’s Spokesperson, Mr Abiodun Olarewaju on Monday, at Ile-Ife.
According to Mr. Olarewaju, the appointment of Mrs. Akeredolu as the new bursar will take immediate effect, while that of Mr Awoyemi would be effective as from June 1.
The new bursar has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, and the Nigerian Institute of Management NIM.
While the new Registrar was until his new appointment, the Director of Academic Affairs in the university.
