Some weeks ago, Julius Agwu celebrated his 40th birthday/ book launch. He was the first Nigerian comedian to release his autobiography. Others seem to be catching the bug as Nigeria’s very own Ayo Makun, popularly known as ’AY the comedian’ has released his. He titled it ‘AY’S DIARY: Just Laugh‘.
An autobiography is meant to be an account of a person’s life and it’s usually done by the person at an old age, when they know they have done almost all that needs to be done. Are our entertainers missing the point of an autobiography or are trying to pass across a message?
