There was rumours making rounds that award winning Nigerian star Asa has been charged to court by the Federal Government for lesbianism, this is false as the two parties have no case at court.
However, it is the Fire on the Mountain singer who has sued Loye Hamzat, the publisher of “News of the People” to court for publishing an article that alleged her to be a homosexual.
The case was due to be heard on 23rd of February, 2012 but was adjourned untill 26th of April, 2012 due to Asa’s absence from court. Her lawyer, who was present at the court said Asa was indisposed and unable to attend the hearing.
